Myth VII- Deaf people don’t make noises.
Deaf people make the same amount of noise as hearing people do; even more so, due to the fact that they don’t hear themselves.
Many times common sense is the least of the common of senses. A person that doesn’t hear cannot be aware of the noise he/she makes. Most deaf people know that, for example, dragging a table produces an undesired noise, but it’s because it has been explained to them, not because they themselves have heard it.
However, it’s worth mentioning that in many occasions deaf people’s reunions are quieter because of the lack of music and chatting voices.
