My name is Lisbeth Villa, although Lisbeth isn’t actually my first name, it’s the one everyone who knows me uses. I was born on March 24, 2003, in Riobamba, where I lived my entire life until I moved away to begin my university studies.
I completed both elementary and high school at Unidad Educativa Hispanoamérica, where I was also part of the honor guard, serving as the first escort for the national flag. At 17, I began studying ‘Multimedia and Audiovisual Production’ at UDLA, but I eventually left the program due to personal reasons.
For a long time, I wasn’t sure which path to take. I worked informal jobs and met new people, and during one of those jobs I had the chance to work as an interpreter. That experience made me realize what I truly wanted to pursue, so I’m now studying Linguistics at PUCE.
Art in all its forms has always been an important part of my life, though my greatest passion is digital illustration. I also enjoy writing, music, and dancing which activities I turn to whenever I need to clear my mind. My family shares a deep love for animals, so having pets at home and forming beautiful bonds with them has always been natural for us.
In the future, I hope to work as a medical interpreter and travel to different places around the world. These goals, along with the unconditional support of my mother (the most important person in my life), motivate me every day to work hard and give my best.
