My name is Camila Chicaiza. I was born in Quito on October 8, 2007, and I am currently 18 years old. I am a Linguistics student at the Catholic University of Ecuador.
I studied at Liceo del Valle High School, where I had the honor of being the first flag bearer for the school’s flag. That period was very important to me: I met most of my friends there and developed a large part of who I am today. I have always been a shy and even somewhat introverted person since I was little. Over time, thanks to the people around me and the confidence I have built in myself, I have managed to overcome many of those barriers. Now I don’t consider myself as shy as I used to be. In fact, I enjoy meeting new people and I’m not afraid to be myself.
My family consists of my parents, Marco and Esperanza; my sister, Diana; and me. I also have three pets that I love very much: two dogs, Regalito and Orito, and a pony named Perlita. We are a close-knit family and always support each other, something I deeply value.
My interests are diverse, but drawing has always been a constant. Since childhood, I’ve had a knack for creating characters, and many of my classmates would ask me to draw them. This skill has been one of my favorite ways to express myself because I consider myself a creative person, and drawing allows me to let my ideas flow freely. Although I’m currently studying Linguistics, when I finish my degree, I’d like to take a digital animation course. Not necessarily as a formal second profession, but out of a desire to delve deeper into art, especially its digital aspects, which I’m not yet as familiar with as traditional art.
As for my tastes, I love animals, clothes, and watching series, whether on Netflix or anime. I also really like One Direction. I have so many interests that it would be difficult to mention them all, but overall, I consider myself curious, creative, and open to exploring new experiences and tastes.
