Meet the K-pop group that breaks the mold of the industry: XLOV

XLOV in their promotional photos for their upcoming comeback and first mini album.

The members of XLOV are here to revolutionize the K-pop industry! Wumuti, Rui, Hyun, and Haru are the members of the first group with an agender concept, meaning they don’t identify with either the male or female gender.

The quartet debuted in January 2025 under the label 257 Entertainment with the single I’mma Be and a promise to challenge the conservative K-pop scene in South Korea. Without limiting themselves to traditional gender roles, the group brought elegance and sophistication with their debut.

With impeccable harmony and synchronization, XLOV’s members’ talent made the group go viral on social media. If you haven’t heard about this fresh K-pop concept yet, it’s time you get to know XLOV!

With members from South Korea, Japan, China, and Taiwan, XLOV is ready to make history in K-pop. Get to know more about Wumuti, Rui, Hyun, and Haru!

Wumuti:

Wumuti is the leader and producer of XLOV. He is of Uyghur descent, and his birth name, Umut, means “hope.” In addition to Chinese and Uyghur — his mother tongue — he speaks Korean and English fluently.
