5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) is an Australian band that was formed in 2011. It is made up of Luke Hemmings (lead vocals, guitar), Michael Clifford (guitar, vocals), Calum Hood (bass, vocals), and Ashton Irwin (drums, vocals). They rose to fame thanks to the song covers they posted on YouTube while they were still in high school, which also helped them get chosen by the already very famous boy band One Direction to open for their tour in England. Since 2014, they have released 6 studio albums featuring pop, rock, and punk sounds.

Last month they released their latest record, Everyone’s A Star!, after taking a break of more than 3 years since their previous album 5SOS5. They welcomed their new era with singles like “NOT OK”, “Boyband,” and “Telephone Busy”, which are little gems just like the rest of the album (:
